Mood Swings Restaurant

We stopped here on our way home from vacation after finding it thru Google maps. We like to try local hole in the wall places and this foot the bill. However, when we arrived it wasn’t very crowded for a Saturday morning at 8:30 but hungry and decided to stay and give it a try. The food was actually pretty good, each got a breakfast platter. The server was rather attentive. However, the wait for food was excessive, especially for breakfast and only one other table seated at the time. We waited over 45 just for our food to come out. OE eggs were cooked perfectly, sausage was just ok but only got one piece of unbuttered toast, when in my experience a side of toast is always two slices. Myself and two friends enjoyed breakfast at Mood Swings before going to Pocosin Arts School of Fine Art for a day of quilting. First, they went above and beyond for me accommodating my need. The food was excellent. The gentleman who waited on us was on point. We enjoyed our time there. Reasonably priced.

My husband and I stopped here to eat on the way from visiting Somerset Plantation. The food was great we had the buffet. The service is top notch and we will be back soon. We will take this hour and 45 min drive for this food and good service .

Well..... in the middle of nowhere we see this place, no cars in parking lot should have been our first sign. We go in and immediately hear the chirping of the smoke detector..... they only had decaf coffee at 8am.... we ordered then they came back saying they don't have sausage, biscuits and a few other items so we just paid for our drinks and left...oh btw the 90.5 sanitary rating was a bullet dodged for sure

So... It was my first time visiting this location which was easy to find. The Atmosphere was nice and the young ladies at the counter were very pleasant. I ordered the Oxtail plates which came with rice and cabbage. Was excited to try love my oxtails. Anyway the reason I gave a three in food and overall was because when I got home to enjoy my plate I realized these weren't oxtails it was goat. I can tell the difference between the two meats. And again they weren't oxtails. I like goat so that was all good but the meat was kinda tuff but they were seasoned right but that cabbage was on point.
