great food. hearty but not heavy. prompt and friendly service. i liked that they offered me my soda to go in addition to the food. not many places offer the soda as well anymore, so i thought it was a nice touch. big portions and great quality for the price. we ordered lemongrass vermicelli, honey chicken vermicelli, and the cucumber salad appetizer. all were delicious. we didn’t order alcohol but the cocktails looked good based on what people around us were drinking and saying. interior is very well decorated and beautiful. the bathrooms were very clean which is a huge plus. only note is that it is chilly inside so bring a jacket if you get cold easily. a lot of free parking. they have a lot behind the restaurant and a lot across the street. there was no wait when we went but we went o

More than just another Vietnamese restaurant — a beautiful and thoughtful culinary experience. Very thoughtful, engaging staff. Amazing food. Great alternating chef selection. Food was good, service was ok. The ambiance was cool. I asked my friends to recommend a spot for me to try in the Heights for lunch. Unknowingly, they both recommended this spot in the same conversation. A quick lookup and I noticed that it's supposed to be Modern Vietnamese cuisine. I was excited to give it a try. I arrived in the middle of the lunch rush, where I had wait about 20 minutes for a table. The hostess kept pointing to the bar, but no seats were available. After sitting down and looking at the menu, I noticed that Bun Rieu is on the menu. This is a common noodle dish that is often overlooked. Always delicious and fresh. This restaurant has the cutest name and a great menu. My one ask is BRING BACK THE BAO BUNS PLS. Add it to the permanent menu 🥲 The wings were SO crisp and delicious, we dug into them before I could take a pic. The shaken beef is their most sold meal and I can see why. I love it with the sauce they serve with the vermicelli, which is what my boyfriend ordered and inhaled. The lady who made our happy hour margaritas def did her job! They were strong and you can tell the ingredients were fresh. The cost was for 2 meals (shaken beef & vermicelli bowl) and 2 happy hour drinks each.

This is a great little neighborhood place that has very friendly staff and they make really Cool and Unique specialty drinks… And the Shaking Beef is so good. The portion is big enough to share for two girls and the Vietnamese Eggrolls are so yummy and they put all the fixings on there. Unlike some other places that just throw a couple of the eggrolls on a plate this has the mint, the cilantro, the shredded carrot and the lettuce…so good. And today we tried the Me So Corny & the Moon Rabbit for drinks. And my sister got a very delicious mai tai that they made from scratch.That’s what’s in the picture. The drinks were very unique and were enjoyable. So it was an all-around great experience and definitely worth checking out. That was my third time there and they have not disappointed. It ha
