Moon Shadow Bed and Breakfast

What can I say about Moonshadow? This is the nicest B&B I’ve ever stayed at. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and cozy. The view from our bedroom was otherworldly. We were able to see the sunrise over the lake. It was truly spectacular. The bathroom was spacious and Will appointed with a walk-in shower. Steven & Jeanette Were wonderful hosts. We took a tour of local wineries with Stephen, which was well worth it. He seemed to know all of the local wine makers and pack the delicious charcuterie board for us to eat. I highly recommend using Stephen for the wine tour. Jeanette‘s breakfasts were the best I’ve ever had at an B&B. Delicious pastries, homemade quiche, homemade sausage. Chiva makes her own hot sauce, honey, and pesto. We will definitely stay again.

My husband and I have stayed in many B&Bs and Moonshadow was our favorite! It has a wonderful view, a fabulous front porch to enjoy your morning coffee, comfortable and clean rooms, GREAT morning breakfasts and a really cute little dog! However, what made it our favorite B&B were Moonshadow's amazing owners and innkeepers, Jeanette & Steven. Jeanette greeted all her guests at the front door providing everyone with a personal welcome. They provided us with dining and winery recommendations that were right on. One night we arrived back at the inn from dinner and Jeanette greeted us at the front door with a freshly made dessert which we enjoyed with her and Steven hanging out and chatting in their kitchen. Just back from a great weekend at Moonshadow B&B! I'm not necessarily a B&B person (I usually find myself at a hotel), but we planned this trip with friends who had been there previously and they promised I would love it. From the moment we arrived owners Jeannette & Steven made us feel like it was our home. From amazing breakfasts to great recommendations for dinners and wineries, they had it down to a science! Their home is beautiful, clean, welcoming and the location is perfect...an amazing view of the lake and a few minutes into town. We are all looking forward to going back again! I definitely have a new found respect for a B&B and this was a perfect first time experience!

This was our second time staying at Moonshadow, and it was another excellent experience. Steven and Jeanette are wonderful hosts, accommodating and bursting with suggestions for things to do, and restaurants to visit. We stay in The Loft, and love the space. And as always, Jeanette whips up delicious gourmet breakfasts that all the guests seem to enjoy while we all share a table and conversation. We recommend a stay at Moonshadow. We’ll be back.

A beautiful b&b run with charm and efficiency. Truly delicious breakfasts that aren’t run of the mill. We did the wine tour with Steve and it was fantastic, we felt he picked the best places to go. Jeanette’s pizzas were a treat after a day out at the wineries. We enjoyed the games room and relaxing on the gorgeous porch. We had encountered some less than stellar b&bs on this trip, other establishments could learn a lot from a stay at Moonshadow. It really is fantastic.
