Context: My partner and I came in on a Friday at midnight. There were only college students as customers who were coming in. They were still putting out fresh pizza at this time. Food: I ordered a mixed chicken and gyro dish over rice ($14). It came with a basic salad. The chicken was tender and moist, the gyro was flavorful, and the rice had the perfect texture. All were seasoned well and the sauces on top were a good balance of creamy and spicy. The salad was also crispy and cold (though pretty basic and not a lot of it). The portions were generous overall for the price, making this a good value. Atmosphere: The store was brightly lit and had both booths and tables for eating at, though the store is small overall. They also have outdoor seating. They had salt, black pepper, red pepper,
There is definitely more than pizza. They have halal meat over rice. I had the chicken & gyro mix over rice in Large. It was great. Reminded me of the food trucks in NYC and Philly. Hard to say which I prefer. Maybe the mix is the way to go! The portion is decent. Enough left for me to have lunch the next day. High value for the price. The owner is welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come again.
Pizza was just ok. The place boasts of halal items which is why we went there. However it was very disappointing but what can you expect from a place located in such a remote city. Lots of students and their families around in the downtown. While it’s situated in prime downtown area the place looked abysmal. They need to change their food and the restaurant overall to attract more customers.
Nice restaurant, good for small meal, got some pizza slices, could be better in quality and price.
We really wanted some halal food on the trip to Ithaca from NYC. After looking at some halal spots we decided for More Than Pizza, and it didn't disappoint. We got a bacon cheeseburger and Chicken over rice, both were fantastic!
