Morton's The Steakhouse

My solo experience was amazing with the help of my server (Paradise). She was very attentive to everything I needed and had some great recommendations on food and drink items that I actually loved a lot. I would most definitely revisit Morton’s downtown.

Came here for the first time with my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day. The atmosphere drew us in immediately then the service was A1. Brian was a sweetheart and tended to every need like it was no problem. Then the food. Every bite was just as good as the last, maybe better. We even got dessert (we never order dessert). Definitely will be back in the future.

This was my husband’s and my first time dining at Morton’s Steakhouse in Cleveland, and unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The food was absolutely not worth the price, and the hype surrounding this place is definitely overrated. I ordered the 12 oz filet, and my husband ordered the tomahawk steak. Both steaks came out burnt, which you can clearly see in the photo. For a high-end steakhouse, this was unacceptable. We also ordered a Caesar salad, and it was honestly horrible. The smell alone was overwhelming—it reeked of fish. We couldn’t even eat it. Our waitress was kind enough to bring us a plain salad with dressing on the side, but sadly it still smelled and tasted like fish. The only thing more wonderful than the food was the service. Came on a Wednesday night so not too busy...everything was perfect. Get the Cajun Ribeye.. You won't regret it!

We dine at Morton’s Steakhouse about four to five times a year and have generally had good experiences in the past, which makes this visit especially disappointing. Unfortunately, this was hands down the worst dining experience we’ve ever had at Morton’s—or any upscale restaurant. After being seated, it took 25 minutes for anyone to come to our table to ask what we wanted to drink. Once we finally ordered, it took an additional 20 minutes just to receive our drinks. Our server never introduced herself, so I can’t even provide her name. Her demeanor was rude and dismissive—every time she didn’t hear or understand what we said, she responded with a sharp “What?” instead of something polite like, “I’m sorry, could you repeat that?” She was also extremely forgetful and repeatedly failed to pu
