Really really enjoyed this Mo's location! It's absolutely beautiful, sitting by the window looking onto the river, taking in the lovely sunset. My daughter & I had clam chowder which did not disappoint, one of the best clam chowder I ever did have. And we were impressed with their chicken Alfredo. The gentlemen & lady that were our servers were the most pleasant people. We absolutely loved it here! ❤️
I love the place. It is really good food and a very reasonable price for seafood. The views of the Columbia river are amazing. Staff is nice. Service is pretty good.
I stopped by about 7:15-7:30 on Tuesday night and was the only patron. For dinner, I had Mo's Kolsh, cup of clam chowder, and blackened fish tacos. My server, Jennifer L. was awesome... friendly, gregarious, efficient! Mo's Kolsh, great tasting beer but $6.75/pint! If I come back, it's because of Jennifer. Cup of clam chowder: good flavor, not enough clam and too much potato and grit for my liking. Seemed more like potato soup made with dirty potatoes (it did taste good though). Blackened Fish Tacos: The fish didn't appear to have been 'blackened' (at least not by Louisiana standards) and the flavor was so mild that I could not taste it over the slaw in the taco. The tacos were served with a red salsa like you'd get at a Mexican restaurant... a bit odd in my opinion. Atmosphere: it was
So.. visiting a Mo's is almost a tradition for me every time we go to the beach. Friday at lunch time though, very busy. The server and cashier were friendly, but it was over 30 minutes to get my entree, and I felt it. The cod was excellent but fries could be a little more crispy, though still tastes good. The food isn't bad at all, it's just not award winning. Obviously you need to get the chowder if it's your first time, but for me I've been dozens of times between all the locations. I'll continue going, but I wanted to be honest about it. Bonus points for me seeing a seal out the window.
Mo's gets a lot of flack for being a chain restaurant on the Oregon coast- but I will say the service, food, atmosphere, and vibes overall at this location were all great. We got seated promptly, waters, asked for a drink order quick as quick could be. Food came out in a reasonable timeframe and tasted good, looked good, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The food was also consistent across the board. We enjoyed getting to sit on the dock area and seeing the boats on the river with our meal, it was really enjoyable. We would come back to this location!
