Mountain Escape Chalet

Really an amazing place!! We came here for a mini March vacation and the house was perfect. The indoor area was so cozy with a really cool automatic fireplace, a well-designed kitchen, and comfortable beds and couches. There were portable heaters throughout the house but we ended up not even needing them because of how well the fireplace heating system worked (weather was 30s-70s while we were there). The outdoor porch area is honestly perfect. It has the trifecta of a hot tub, a nice grill, and a gas fire table which made it such a fun place to spend time. The house faces the sunrise so we gently woke each morning to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains and tree tops. Loved our long weekend here. My wife and I go away every year for our anniversary. We have been to a lot of nice places but this is the first one we are planning to return to

Nice place. Very steep and bumpy driveway. Low profile cars would have a hard time getting here. Hot tub was sparkling clean. Had an issue with the code to get in but Doug returned the call and got us in within 15 minutes. Stairs for bedrooms are steep too. Great view from front deck. Enjoyed the fire ring. Nice living room area too. Low water pressure. Overall we were happy and would return. The area is beautiful. Doug was great to work with. Would be a perfect score but if you are older or have physical issues ( back problems) it may be hard to get bounced around in the driveway and the stairs for the bedrooms might be difficult for you. Thanks Doug.

What a perfect weekend getaway. A warm, cozy space to relax. The hot tub was clean and stress relieving. We enjoyed the comfortable furniture and the gas log fireplace. We didn't watch a lot of TV but the satellite was handy to catch the basketball game! It was great to have a gas grill handy since the weather was very mild for late January. We will definitely be back in the future.

Gorgeous, cozy mountain home with unbelievable privacy and views but still close to the best "have to do its". Just had the best long weekend there with great friends. The house afforded us with all the sweet amenities nestled on top of a lovely hill. Charming, well-appointed, I never slept so good. Brought a tear to my eye to leave it. Go and find your peace there! 🙂
