We had a pleasant dining experience at Mr. Boil. The snow crab was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The shrimp boil bowl included a generous portion of rice but was unfortunately too salty for our taste, which made it difficult to finish. Service was attentive and welcoming, and we appreciated that the staff set up our table and provided plenty of napkins and towelettes. The restaurant offers a casual sports-bar atmosphere and is located in a nice plaza with easy parking right outside. Weekday lunch specials are available until 4 PM.
Mr. Boil never disappoints. I’ve been here several times. Finally decided to post. Although they don’t allow substitutions like most spots, their menu options are amazing. The atmosphere and coworkers also provide a great experience. Shout out to the bartender that never misses.
Great place for diner or lunch. Enjoyed a sea food boil, poke salads! Was always warmly welcomed by the staff, kudos to Shaun, Jass! I do recommend this place and will come back in my next visit in Virginia
My boyfriend and I went there for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We got a “built your own” poke bowl each with 3 proteins. Our waiter was really nice, he brought our order really fast and even was able to bring me an extra portion of eel sauce. Regarding the food, the portion was great and really tasty. The protein was also great in size and taste. It cost $53 dollars in total for 2 poke bowl with 3 protein choices, one strawberry lemonade, a Diet Coke and a hot tea. I would definitely go there again for some poke bowls.
First time in the area and my boyfriend was craving blue crabs so we stopped by. Blue crabs weren't available due to season but our server Shaun was knowledgeable of the menu and asked the right questions to make sure we were satisfied. We went with his recommendations of the C combo with the Mr. Boils sauce and added some hushpuppies. The food was really flavorful and a bigger portion than we were expecting. We'll definitely be back for the tasty food and Shaun's great service!
