Mr. Bruno's Pizzeria

Bruno’s became my go-to as I truly cannot find good pizza in Queens. But lately, it’s kinda been meh. The garlic knots have made me sick twice, stay away from them. I’ve had the chicken roll and that’s been good, along with some specialty slices. The regular slices are decent. I feel like something has switched up. If you need something real quick, stick with the slice and that’s it. They have a good offer with a local food app that you can accumulate points and get rewards that’s cool. But I feel like my days eating there are coming to an end if they don’t straighten out.

I've been coming here for years.The staff is great and friendly, even when I come in late after work. They alway seem seem to have something good for me even qhwn they are about to close. Great lentil soup, pasta dishes and family atmosphere. Love my Brunos people.

I placed a delivery order over the phone @8:55PM. Received at 9:30. The order I received was incorrect. I placed a shrimp parmigiana and the receipt was correct. When taking out the container, I see shrimp scampi. I called to make sure I receive the proper order or a refund. Rio is the person over the phone I spoke with and he said there was nothing he can do since the kitchen and computer system was already closed. The place is supposed to close at 10 and I don’t live far from them. After I insisted they either send me the correct order or refund, Rio said I should bring back the food tomorrow so he can do the refund. This was not helpful since I won’t be having dinner tonight. I’m currently pregnant and was looking forward to eating their dish.

The pizza was okay. But the service terrible. I’ve ordered for delivery and in person more than 5 times. I ordered this past week for delivery and the guy on the phone told me in Spanish to hurry down stairs because he was blocking a drive thru very rudely. I don’t know what’s up with their attitudes. But everytime they come the delivery ppl they are very nasty and rude to me or my sister in law. They receive 10+ tip and I’m not that far from the location. I thought it was the cold making them upset but no they come driving and not in a bike and still have a nasty attitude plus a 10+ tip. I’m sure there’s better pizza out there won’t be coming back! Save my time and money.

Maybe I've just been unlucky for 4 years. This is the last time. Seems like they forgot the sauce.
