Mr B's Big Scoop

I’m not sure if I will be back. The ice cream itself was good, and they had my favorite flavor. I have no complaints about the food itself. However, my group and I felt like the people behind the counter just wanted us gone. We were the only ones there, so it’s not like they were in a rush. They just seemed to not want people in the store. I’ve asked some other people, and it sounds like this is a common experience. Ice cream is a treat, so why go to a place where you feel unwelcome?

What a lovely ice cream shop here in the on top of the world plaza. You don’t have to live here to go and they have music going on most nights. Prices are very decent too.

We tried out Mr B's Big Scoop in July 2024. You do not park right in front of the store, because of the stores location in the Circle Square. But we parked close by at a quiet time. So the walk for us was minimum. It wasn't overly busy, but we did have to wait in a short line. You must pay attention to the arrows on the floor, otherwise you don't know which way the line goes. But that is very minor. We were able to order fairly quickly. But they only seem to have a couple inside tables and a bench with their limited space. Fortunately, we had a spot to sit inside, as a family condensed the tables to make room for us. We appreciated that. Because it's hot outside in July. OMG, they have great ice cream flavors. Love the peach and still wanting to try banana pudding flavor ice cream!

Good selection of ice cream FULL of flavor. Kinda of weird location for a tourist to find but worth the trip out into the country. The Peach flavor was amazing. Large scoops.
