Mr. Crab House

When I’m craving a seafood boil this is my GO-TO spot close to home! Came here for Christmas dinner and had the Create-Your-Own seafood boil with the 1/2 pound headless shrimp and 1/2 pound snow crab legs. Seafood boil was great as usual. The cocktails were good too. I had the Mr Crab Iced Tea and my mom had the Rum Punch. We ordered the chocolate cake slices to go. They were very RICH but delicious! The waitress we had was very friendly, attentive, and nice. (I don’t remember her name but she said she usually only works on-call when they need her.) We arrived around 6pm Christmas evening. It wasn’t crowded at all probably due to the holiday. Most people were coming in for carry out orders. Food and drinks are always good here so we’ll keep coming back!

Came in for a shrimp and crab boil. Food was pretty good, service was fair and price was crazy but similar to other seafood restaurants. Cost the two of us $144 with tip for two boils and two teas. My biggest complaint was there was no first responder discount. Supposedly there used to be one but they discontinued it. My fiancé and I are both retired military along with many of my family members so I usually do not support establishments that do not offer a first responder discount. With that, I will not be back and will support other businesses that do offer a discount.

It was so delicious! If you don't decide to go with the Mr. Crab specialty blend sauce... you're missing out. We'll definitely be stopping back in when we come through again!

I was so excited when I saw I could order delivery right from their website. The food arrived steaming hot, which is always a plus for delivery and the staff honored my request for a side of butter for the boil. The seafood itself was… fine. The shrimp was overcooked and mealy, unfortunately, and the crawfish suffered a similar fate. The mussels and crab I had were cooked well, though! I’d go back, just may avoid certain proteins.

Mr. Crab House was really good. The staff is superb, really friendly. The hush puppies are so good! They have corn in them, so so good! We had the chicken strips and fries, mine had the Cajun seasoning on the fries and they were really good. My daughter said they were the best chicken strips she’s had. My friend had the make your own seafood boil with the creamy sauce and loved it. The Mr. Crab iced tea mixed drink was very good as well. Definitely make a stop here.
