Mr C's Deli & Pizza

I got three pizzas here a few weeks ago because my son really wanted to try them (I believe he saw them on Tiktok or something) and it was not what I expected because it's in a large party store but it's very good pizza (well cooked, nice crust, lots of toppings) and I was impressed with how nice, friendly, and helpful everyone was. The two men at the counter and the one who made the pizza were great, and the price of the pizza was very reasonable for what you get. Great value and the store is big and bright and looked clean.

In Mt. Clemens at lunch (that's new). After stopping at a BBQ & soul food place and a Thai restaurant and finding both were carry-out only (I hate that) I found this "deli". If I have to eat in my car, which I loath, it at least needs to be food that allows that. So I go in and see a cross between a convenience store and a liquor store. They do food as well, pizzas, pre-made sandwiches, fried chicken, cheese rolls and sandwiches made on foccacia. I went with the last. While it was in a hot display case, it wasn't a hot sandwich. The foccacia was very nice but the fillings a bit thin. Well, it was only $4 so quit complaining.

It's located inside of a Liquor store. The food appeared to have been kept under the hot lamp too long. Everything that was displayed looked dehydrated and dried out. I'm sure that when it's cooked fresh, it's probably really tasty.

Stopping by for the first time. I mentioned this in conversation while my order was being packed up. The person at the counter introduced himself, asked my name-welcomed me to the store and made me feel like I had been frequenting this store for ages. Very kind. Fantastic pizza. Highly recommend.
