Mr. Fuji Sushi - Albany

A girlfriend and myself went for late lunch on a Friday around 330. We were the only customers for a bit, and I felt the service could have been a bit quicker. We learned after being seated we could not enjoy saki because there liquor license has been revoked :( BUT....the food was REALLY good. My friend got the Mermaid roll, and I ordered the Tiger roll. I must go back for the Mermaid because it was so good!!!

Was over in this area because my granddaughter wanted Blaze. I decided to go look and see if I wanted anything from here. I went with the usual that I get - crab pockets (aka Rangoon), shrimp tempura roll with no avocado, spicy crab in soy paper (did the white one this time) and the house salad. The dressing for the salad was tasty - a bit on the thin side but still good. The crab pockets were a bit too sweet and triangle shaped - tasted like the ones from a Chinese food restaurant. The spicy crab in the white soy paper was good. Well put together. The shrimp tempura roll was a bit different for me - the rice was on the inside. Despite not being how it normally looks when I order it was really good. Price point was ok - normal for that area to be a bit high. All in all it was good. Would I

Loved our dinner here- the portions were generous and we loved everything we tried. Great vegan options and my vegetable sushi (chef’s choice of veggies) was amazing!! Great, friendly service. Hope to go back soon

This was a great place for Japanese cuisine! The sushi, seaweed salad, miso soup, sashimi were all tasty and presenting so beautifully! The service was ok, she didn’t bring out everything we asked for but she was very nice. The communication was a bit off. Very quiet and intimate setting too!

Very hospitable and welcoming service. The server was attentive, on point with recommendations and our meal was served quickly. The dining room on the lower level was spacious and the upper balcony level looked like a nice spot to dine as well. Overall I don’t think you will be disappointed.
