Mr. Garcia's Mexican Grill and Cantina

Thank you very much for an amazing service throughout our visit at your restaurant! We visited with my husband and daughter and we ate absolutely everything off the plates! Warm welcome. Attentive service. Great food and drinks! Best Mexican food i’ve had in a very long time! Try their house hot sauce! I specifically loved the tortilla chips!!! The portions are great ! We were visiting from New York, so we came in with fairly high expectations. We appreciated how quickly we were seated and how fast the food came out. However, the food itself didn’t quite live up to our expectations. It was also clear that the restaurant was short-staffed—not necessarily their fault—but it did affect the overall experience. A few things were missed during our visit, and there seemed to be a lack of attentiveness or genuine care in the service, likely due to the staffing situation.

This is, without exaggeration, the best Mexican restaurant at whcih I've ever eaten. My family (wife, 2 teenage kids) and I spent a week in Shenandoah this winter on a small vacation, and while the mountains are lovely with lots to do outdoors, the dining options in the area were limited, to put it mildly. Late in the week, we found Mr. Garcia's, and had not only the best meal of our trip, but sincerely one of the best Tex-Mex meals any of us could remember. The space was warm and comfortable, the staff was super quick and friendly, and the food was straight up delicious. Me and my husband came here while visiting the area. Very good food and service was great. The prices as well was very reasonable too for how much food we got! Highly recommend this place!

Got a tip from a nice young man at TBowl that Mr Garcias was a good place. It was late after some fun at TBowl and we took his advice. Did not disappoint. Service was great, food was delicious and the price was outstanding. If your ever near the town of Shenendoah stop in. Will be adding Mr Garcia to our list of good places to eat.
