MR HALAL Schenectady

There wasn’t barely any seating but the man was so nice and brought out tables in the back for us to sit without kids. We were in town for a concert and already ordered the food and was just gonna stand at the table. The service experience was great! The food was delicious and great amount for the price :)

This is one of the best restaurant in Schenectady, but they need to learn how to serve people they have to be more smiley and polite towards the people

They do a good job whenever I come in person. But wheneve I ordered doordash or Uber they cut corners. I ordered extra hot sauce and white sauce and I didn't get any extra hot sauce or white sauce in the bag. They didnt give me the hummus I ordered. I called them they said we just put it on top the hot sauce and white sauce. Im like everytime I came in person they always ask how much I want on top and charge extra for the cups. They never charge me extra for putting it on top. Always order in person.

I always order through doordash, and in Schenectady NY its hard to get consistent quality like that. Its always bare minimum warm, often hot and fresh. Its always the sane as last time, the consistency is fantastic. Thanks guys!

I first tried the combo over rice and it was awesome. Tasty and a good portion. The carrot cheesecake was so good. Next I tried just the chicken over rice and again was very pleased with the taste and portion. Today I ordered the fish and chips. I'm going to go with this is not an item that is in their wheelhouse. I don't know what kind of fish it was but it didn't taste like any fish I have ever eaten. It was cut up like fish nuggets/strips(?). The fries however were good. I will stick to ordering what I know is their speciality and that is the over rice dishes.
