Mr. Pepe (Hull Street/Genito)

I was on my way home from work and decided to stop and buy a steak and shrimp,(ribeye) but the menu listed one price and everything it included, and when I called, to my surprise, I only had two side dishes to choose from. When I arrived, I paid $5 more than what the menu said, for a total of $24.37, and when I got home, the steak was raw, full of water, and more fat than meat. The menu said ribeye, but it wasn't ribeye; it was another type of meat with gristle. The vegetables were overcooked, and the worst part is that this isn't the first time this has happened to me. They did the same thing to me with a grilled steak. I don't recommend this place. They should pay more attention to what they're selling because for $24.47, they should be providing something enjoyable, not something unsati

I haven't been here in years but to the looks of it, it seems the place has gotten a nice makeover! And of course, the food has still been very amazing. The portion sizes are huge so be sure to be ready or just get a takeout tray, hehe.

This was my first time here and my goodness was the food SO good. I ate all of my plate and so did my other family members. I loved the atmosphere, the setting of the restaurant itself was a cute homage to traditional restaurants in Mexico. The staff were cool and chill, and the options in their menus were amazing to choose and delicious when read out loud. Family friendly, the prices are decent, and the waiting time is not too long at all! 10/10

This is my third time here in a couple weeks because the food is so good. Lunch service was a little slow today and my tacos was sitting on the side for too long before it came out to me but they was still delicious if not a little soggy on the one side from sitting on the plate. Very tasty though so not going to complain, just ate them with a fork instead when they started to fall apart. I've had the puppies burrito which is amazing with carnitas, and I've had lunch fajitas which were perfectly cooked. Staff is nice and attentive.

Yesterday, 09/10/2025, I got myself a Torta and was so disappointed by. I remember when it first came on the menu and the torta and fries, that came with it, was absolutely delicious and has been a favorite of mine ever since , but the quality of it has gone so downhill. The torta had barely any meat and was so poorly assembled it just tasted like I was just eating straight bread. The fries were soggy with no salt. Other options there are really good, but I love the torta and am so disappointed by the deterioration of the quality over the years.
