Mr. Tacos - Taqueria Mexicana

I went here for lunch in down town New Brunswick. I wish they had. Better heating system bc it was freezing inside and I wa shopping to warm up since it wa freezing outside too. Anyways, I ordered basically all there vegetarian options in tacos and decided to order the tostada I think. I would give all of the tacos an 8/10, but the mixed vegetable one was the best. Cactus was ok. I don’t really understand how they wrapped it because the second you you undo the wrapping all the food falls out. Kind of hard if you don’t. Have a big mouth. The tostada is really hard to eat but it tasted good. Overall, Mexican food is generally not that good for vegetarians since there’s not a lot of options and the flavor generally lacks. But that’s unfair to give this place a bad review. It’s a bit expensive

My partner and I tried Mr. Tacos for the first time this summer, and we are absolutely hooked on their Birria tacos. Even though everything is pricey, the food is so flavorful and fresh. They also have really nice tortilla chips and a self-serve sauce and garnish station. Parking is on the street, but it’s well worth it for a visit!!

Weekday Review: Great tacos with bold flavors especially the carne asada and al pastor. Small spot, best to go on a weekday or earlier in the day. Loved the toppings bar (radishes, lime, cucumber with salt & lime) and the salsa options. Easy ordering with self-serve kiosk and rewards system. Metered parking. Weekend Review: DISAPPOINTING experience. Food was cold even for dine-in, Mexican rice wasn’t good, radishes looked almost spoiled, and meat was very hard. Would not recommend visiting on weekends possibly a different cook.

The food OMG it's amazing. To be honest I Hate eating at Mexican restaurants cause I'm Mexican & I feel like the food flavor just don't hit like it should in America but the quesadilla I ate here wow it was very flavorful. I definitely recommend. The place was a bit dirty to be honest didn't like that much but I will still go back & get food.

Excellent fresh Al Pastor tacos! Quick, delicious, and reasonably priced!
