Mr. Taka Ramen is THE ramen spot! There aren't many dining tables and a few counter chairs but it makes it cozy and not overstimulating. The ramen is the best around. It's fresh, the broth and noodles are delicious and they have many different options. Our go to is the spicy tonkotsu, but we've tried them all and none would disappoint. Reservations are probably a good idea, just because of the small venue but the service is quick and efficient. You get a real authentic feel at this place and it's hands down the best spot in NYC!
Came here with my sisters and they were able to sit us within a few minutes. The service was excellent and the food was hot and fast. They had classic Japanese sodas and I got the classic ramen without pork (non-spicy). It was delicious. Such a nice and cozy atmosphere. Perfect for friends, date night or solo.
Heavenly ramen, seriously the best ramen. I had the spicy black tantanmen, the fried chicken was cut into thin fried strips, the broth was earthy and savory and I added an egg and it was so flavorful. Amazing atmosphere, great stuff, better than anything I've had in NJ.
Delicious Ramen!! Best miso ramen I had in New york, is very flavorful, great portion and perfect for a cold weather. Amazing customer service too!! Cozy spot in LES :)
We didn’t get pictures of the food because it was so busy and delicious! Met the owner as she thanked us on the way out and even gave me a hug! They are open on holidays while other places are closed. I personally really enjoyed the Brussels spouts appetizer as well as the gyozas. The gyozas were probably one of the best I have ever had! So flavorful alone that you almost didn’t need the dipping sauce (and the sauce is usually why I like gyozas). My girls got ramen and a bowl…I did not try those as I was full with my array of appetizers, but they ate everything! The place was packed, but the vibe was welcoming and attentive. Highly recommend!
