I’ve been going here basically since they opened when it was Kiku 15+ years ago. Weekly up until a few years ago when I moved. We were sat and immediately my 2 year old kept saying “bug bug” and my husband and I didn’t see anything. Well a large roach went across his plate then. A few minutes later my neice told me there were little bugs on the table. So I got up and there were 4 tiny bugs that I saw immediately. So we changed tables. I knew I should have left but didn’t. We moved tables, got our food, and then as we were done eating… another large roach went across my husbands plate. They only offered us 10% off. If you’ve made reservations don’t be surprised to be told there’s over an hour wait. Even for others who’ve made reservations for earlier were waiting. (Holding for a larger party not even there) Cost isn’t worth. Two instances of bugs. Food quality was mid. The hibachi chef was really cool though and did an awesome job though. Guess you just gotta look at the positive’s. Well positive. lol Clearly very poorly managed. Surprised it used to be great.

Food was average- we did take out and of course, not as fresh as sitting in the restaurant. The rolls were pretty plain - we got shrimp tempura roll, Avacado roll, spider roll and handwrapped California roll. No extra wow to them- just ok. Pricey for what you actually get. Vegetable tempura was cold and kind of mushy too. I know with take out you take that chance. Will consider other places before ordering next time.

Calimari is okay wouldn't get it again. Soup was flavorless salad was doused with dressing. The hibachi chicken and rice/veggies with yum-yum sauce was really good though!

Came here because our regular Friday night sushi spot was closed(it’s the day after Thanksgiving). We sat at the sushi bar and ordered edamame to start and it was pretty good. Could’ve been steamed just a touch longer. For the sushi, we ordered the Caterpillar Roll, the Beauty & Beast Roll, and the “Unknown” Roll. They came out super quick. They all had unique flavors and were pretty fresh. All in all, decent sushi but doesn’t compare to our regular spot, so only 4 stars.
