Mr. Toro Taste of Mexico

First, time to visit Mr. Toro with my starving kids + myself (tired mom..not wanting or having to time to cook) As soon as we walked in… we were warmly welcomed and greeted. The food was excellent! We had street tacos, along with an extra side of Spanish rice and beans; everything was fresh from the heart of the kitchen. They even offered samples! The customer service was five-star, and it was very family-friendly. It took me back to a beautiful memory—the first street tacos I ever had in Tulum, Mexico. We will definitely be going back! Overall it was good, nothing amazing. I’m not a fan of not having ice and a cup for my drinks. There was no bottle opener for the Jarritos Mandrain, at least that we saw. We were a group of four, one burrito asada, was big and pretty good. Two bowls, one barbacoa & one asada, was told good but nothing special. Two tacos one asada and one chicken, both quite dry. Paid $3 for 2ounces of guacamole, little pricey imo. Also .99 for sour cream on one of the bowls I assume all extra topping cost more. Don’t nickel and dime me to death, I won’t come back. Only one person making food, Natalie she was awesome and very informative. A young man came in and stood there ringing up our food while she was making it. Two tables and not really dine in friendly. I wish them luck.

Great little place! I have only been here 1 time but the customer service from the young lady behind the counter will make me come here again. They were low on cheese she added more. They were out of guacamole and when she was done serving everybody she made some and brought it to me. You don’t find employees like that now days. The bowl I got was great my brother is a picky eater and said it was good! Keep up the great work! Will be back!

Just tried Mr. Toro and I think it’s just what whitewright needed. The food was amazing! I tried each of the meats in a street taco with cilantro, onions, and cheese. I loved them all except the carnita as it was a little dry. The staff was nice, but I do think more help is needed upfront since it was busy and slow moving, but overall everything was great!

This restaurant was amazing. The food was great, but the employees were better. We got our food really quick and were able to go in and out within 10 minutes. I Would recommend this place if you are driving by.
