Mr V's BBQ

Sadly we did not enjoy our meal despite everything looking good.. The ribs and rib tips were under cooked, smelled and tasted like lighter fluid. Everything lacked seasoning. The black eye peas were watery and flavorless. The greens looked and tasted like they came straight out of the can. The potato salad was lacking some serious flavor. The Mac and cheese was dry and nasty. The cornbread was good and slightly sweet. The chicken dressing was also good and had nice flavor. The gravy that came with the dressing was not good at all . I'm happy it came on the side. The food was expensive and not good. Never again.

The food was horrible no lie. I’ve been wanting to try since he came across my fyp. My husband got two pulled pork sandwiches with a medium baked beans and mac and cheese. He gave the pps a 2, beans a 3, and the mac a 0. I had the rib tray, a side of mac and cheese, and the fried wings sandwich. I give the ribs a 4 with sauce and a 2 without sauce, the mac was nasty it’s a 0 and the wings taste ok but the breading was weird 3. We won’t be returning. This was our experience, I say still try them if you haven’t you might like the food. Also the older lady that works there in the dining area is so sweet and beautiful. We spent 40.33

Down here from Delaware visiting family. Wanted to try something new. Ordered a pound of brisket, chopped chicken, Mac and cheese, and collard greens. Everything was overly delicious!!! And the servings were large!!! I had enough to make my wife a plate the next night, and she enjoyed as well. This place is definitely on my must go to list when here.

Ladies and gentlemen I am happy to report a full belly and a glad spirit after having inhaled my rib tips, collard greens, and homemade dressing. I have been supporting this gentleman for a few years now and I'm glad to see that God has blessed him to be able to have a brick and mortar building to operate out of. Everything on the menu is cooked with love and you will not be disappointed if you come and support Mr V's Barbecue

The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. The best BBQ place in Columbus. Order was two leg quarter sandwiches and rib dinner.
