​The Atmosphere & Service ​From the moment you walk in, the design and atmosphere grab you. It’s vibrant, fun, and genuinely inviting—the kind of place where you want to linger over a second drink. ​The service was a highlight. It felt remarkably authentic, including a charming moment where my waiter and I had a bit of a language barrier. It added to the soul of the place; we communicated through smiles and pointing, and everything arrived exactly as requested. ​The meal started with a bit of a "meh." The standard chips and salsa are average at best, lacking that "can't-stop-eating-this" quality. ​Pro Tip: Ask for the special-order hot salsa. Food What we loved - they had a spicy salsa my husband could eat (the regular has cilantro which is a no-go for us). I ordered the Zason Special. The steak, chicken, & shrimp were all seasoned and prepared wonderfully. The rice and beans were also a good flavor and texture. The tortillas definitely eat like fresh-made. What we didn't love - my husband ordered the Chimis con Fajitas. They were more like a flauta & tasted almost wholly of onion. An ingredient the menu didn't list. While one may generally guess that a dish with "fajita" in the name will have onions, the lack of mention of any fajita vegetables did mean we ordered something we were less-satisfied with. Great food selection! Not just Mexican food! Guacamole was freshly made and very good! White Queso and Salsa both great too!

Everyone needs to go try out Mr. Zason’s. Everything we ate was delicious and they were so friendly and the service was great! I highly recommend their Tres leches cake. It was delicious! The owner was very welcoming and the manager was, too, and I can’t wait to go back!
