Ms Pats Bistro

This is a small (facility) soul food spot that serves combo meals. A group of 10 of us attended after church. Pleasant staff, but there was an extended wait to receive food once ordered. Food was brought out one at a time instead of all at once. I ordered the fried pork chop; they put it directly in the Styrofoam container without letting the oil to drain completely (the Styrofoam melted the top & there was a pool of oil at the bottom of container). The pork chop size was hefty, seasoned well, but tastes like it may have been in older oil. The cabbage (side) was savory & the highlight of the meal. Went today for lunch with my husband and we all enjoyed all the food! We will definitely be back! I got smothered chicken over mashed potatoes, green beans, and yams. I thought I would have leftovers but I it all and now wishing I ordered more!

First time ordering here and NEVER AGAIN!!! I spent 50$ after reading all the great reviews and they literally just gave me anything!!! I ordered wings and they gave me a breast and a wing that tasted like OLD BURNT OIL. I ordered collard greens and they gave me cabbage that has a weird taste. The macaroni was runny and weird. And I waited over an hour. Never again !!!!

My food was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The customer service was excellent, and I’ll definitely be coming back. In fact, I returned because I had forgotten my mac n’ cheese, and it was well worth it! I couldn’t resist grabbing some more greens, and I even ate my second salmon croquette before I could take a picture—it was just that good. Everything was exactly what I wanted, and Mr. Joe’s hospitality made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Over charged for skimpy portions, I felt ripped off. $15.99 for a skimpy veggie plate. Then an extra buck for another mini cornbread muffin,should’ve came with two automatically. My mom’s baked chicken didn’t even come with a bed of rice like most soul food spots. The chef’s vibe was weird the girl at the register was nervous but polite. I wouldn’t recommend or return. The portion was so small we went to who’s got soul in Decatur on Covington Hwy after we left Ms. Pat’s . I did a comparison. Who’s Got soul is the black container and Ms. Pats is in the white. It’s supposed to be string beans over rice you can’t see the rice, this man made a plate for a child.
