Pictures are from May 3, 2025. This area is only nice in Spring or else Summer it is completely overgrown and not taken care of. I believe there was a possible tick sign due to all the brush. There is a lot of wildlife, bird watchers can find flocks of Canadian Geese, Sandhill Cranes, Variety of small ducks for example Green-Winged Teal. The trail does lead towards I-94 highway. Once you get to the main ponds you will see I-94 highway. There are a few rough trails around the pond, but I did not explore as there was not a clear road trail. The trail ends with the second metal corrugated culvert and birch trees. Overall was a beautiful experience and very tranquil.
It's a tiny little lot leading to a tiny fishing spot. Great for a relaxing stop. Right off a main road.
Semi-rough parking area. Access to Muddy creek and the wildlife area.
