We're on board with, and on record as saying to all our friends that, MVD is our favorite spot. But since we like trying new places too, we had to come back for the first time in over a year. It's not just the variety of tapas options, or the incredible wine selection, or the impeccable hospitality that will keep you coming back; it's the culinary journey rarely taken where the food transports you and you just sit back speechless thinking, “that was IT, where has this been?” You'll leave completely stuffed, and they'll be drinks… lots of drinks; but the concoctions are adventurous and more than worth trying a few of, and that's before you get to the wine list. You Need To Know? Arrived with reservations & we were seated & given drinks immediately. The menu changes frequently at this fine dining venue. The menu is delicious sounding & the food itself is flavorful. On this occasion we tried several small plates & a couple entrees. While the croquettes were not a table favorite, the Arristicini (grilled lamb skewers) melted in your mouth. We also had the squash soup, Pollo which had glazed carrots, chantarelles & portobello that were cooked to perfection. Home cooking feel for sure. We also had the Lomo which was a 6 Oz beef tenderloin that was cooked just right. The flavors were plentiful on this plate. The food was fantastic & we look forward to returning to try some other menu items. Now You Know! -TBH

Wow! I had the most incredible meal at MVD. The staff were so sweet and attentive. I only ordered what was suggested and I could not have been more satisfied. I had the beef tartare, crab salad, beet salad, yuka, and the almond tart. Everything was superb and served beautifully. For a cocktail, The Limey, was crafted impeccably. This is not a spot to miss out on. For as wonderful as the food is, the staff are just as worth the visit. I will be back again and again.

My husband and I are travelling from France and we stopped to MVD for dinner. We were so impressed with this restaurant: the location is beautiful, decorated with a lot of detail and care. The service was great and the food arrived very fast. What we’ve been mostly impressed with was the food: an absolute amazing experience, full of delicious ingredients and flavours we’ve tasted for the first time. If you are ever in the area, this place is a must try!

Our group of three foodies were all impressed! Each of us ordered 2 dishes from the tapas menu and shared them. The fig and prosciutto toast is fabulous, croquettes and arancini were amazing and the chorizo is a must try. Their desserts were also excellent but not really large enough to share. Wonderful service and the inside is beautiful! It is a bit on the loud side though. Overall gem of a place! We will be returning for sure (:
