My Deli & Café | Greek Bistro

Great place to stop by for delicious and authentic Greek cuisine! One of my favorite places for gyros, and I make sure to stop by everytime I'm in the area. Small but comfortable seating area, menu offers a variety of options, and orders come out quick.

It is often impossible to have good service, good food, and a good feeling about a place all at once. The truth is, you always have 10 out of 10 on one or two of those things, but never all together. This little Greek spot has it all. From a delicious menu made fresh to great service and a fantastic atmosphere, there's more and more and it just never ends. The owner loves engaging with his customers. He knows everyone that walks in and takes orders, and yet, he manages to prep in the kitchen while mysteriously showing over your shoulder with a hot coffee. Is he a ghost or a truly multitasking specimen that has perfected how to run a business? He's actively engaging, promotes positiveness, and treats you like you're part of his family. Wow! This was a random visit and we're so glad we stopped by! The food was delicious, the price was right, and my wife called it "the perfect after pool meal!" We had Hummus and Pita bread, Greek Salad! The hummus was awesome! She had a smoked Turkey panini and I had the gyro platter. It was delicious!!

It is a cute place with counter service, tho allowed us to enjoy our food & pay at the end. Owners are really friendly. Gyros were good.. freshly baked pitas, loaded with meat & really good yogurt sauce. Menu is surprisingly extensive given the quaint size of the place. They have ice cream, baklava, root beer & coke floats, tho we didn't try them.

Another local restaurant that I failed to try until after I had lived in the area for over three years and I could kick myself for it! I decided to stop in one day for lunch since so many locals rave about the place on our local social media groups. It’s a small deli inside, you get the feeling you have stepped into a small family deli/restaurant in Queens. In fact, to access their public restrooms you have to walk through a section of the kitchen. But the staff were welcoming and friendly. I ordered the Famous Italian. It was so good! The meat, you could tell, was fresh sliced. And the bread! Oh my goodness, the bread is what dreams of paninis are made of! Slight crispy on the outside but soft on the inside.
