Whenever I’m in Harrisburg for work, one of our team’s go-to spots for a satisfying, flavorful meal is My Taste of India—and for good reason. This place feels like a warm invitation into a Punjabi home kitchen, with all the rich spices, comforting dishes, and genuine hospitality you’d hope for. Run by the amazing duo—Joe and his brother Joseph—the experience here is always personal and welcoming. They clearly take pride in what they serve, and it shows in every dish and every interaction. We’ve worked our way through much of the menu (yes, we’re those regulars), but this visit was especially epic. I have eaten "the best Indian food in the world" in London, and this restaurant is BETTER! The paneer tikka masala was PERFECT, the korma and the naan were incredible, and the cauliflower appetizer with a sweet-hot sauce was delicious! Everything was made from FRESH ingredients to order. Joe was friendly and kindly made the recommendation for the appetizer when I asked for something with an interesting flavor profile. Do not let the fact that it is in a truck plaza put you off. The food here is better than any I have gotten in the fancy Indian restaurants! Worth the long drive I made to get here, WILL RETURN FOR MORE! 😋😍😋😍😋😍

Located near a Pilot and TA truck stop, as a truck driver finding spots like this nearby is a blessing, I got the butter chicken with jeera rice and garlic naan and a chicken tandoori platter, the gentlemen there were kind and offered great service. Portion size was worth the price range. Overall greatly seasoned, tender chicken. Highly recommend 👍🏼👍🏼

Let me tell you something... I've eaten at alot of Indian places but none has compared to this place right here. The food made me feel like I was in India all over again. Authentic taste and they prepare everything as you order. The chef even came and asked about my experience. If you want Authentic Indian food this is the place and also very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Very good 👌🏾

I recently had the pleasure of dining at “Taste of India” in Harrisburg, PA, and it was an unforgettable experience! The Saag Paneer and Malai Kofta were nothing short of amazing—each dish bursting with authentic flavors that transported me straight to India. The garlic naan was the perfect complement, fluffy and flavorful, making every bite even more enjoyable. The portion sizes are just right, ensuring that you leave feeling satisfied without being overly stuffed. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, always available to answer questions and make recommendations. Their warm hospitality truly adds to the overall dining experience.
