Naga’s South Indian Cuisine

I had a great experience at this buffet, and the food was truly delicious. There was a wide variety of dishes available, and everything I tried tasted fresh and well prepared. The flavors were rich, and the quality of the food was excellent. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were nicely arranged and served at the right temperature. The presentation of the food was clean and appealing, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal.

Can’t tell you enough how tasty the food is. Tried Paneer cut dosa - the deliciousness was overloaded. I heard their buffet is awesome - will surely visit soon. Sambhar and chutney were the start of the plate. Great service, clean and calm atmosphere. Met the co-owner and chef, Murthy. Very nice fellow.

⭐ Honest Review – Nagas South Indian Cuisine I recently visited Nagas South Indian Cuisine and tried their buffet. I usually travel a lot and have eaten in many Indian restaurants across different cities like St. Louis and Chicago, but this experience was quite disappointing. 🔹 Positives: • The variety of dishes was decent. • The place was neat, and the seating area was okay. 🔹 Concerns: • The food didn’t taste fresh, and most of the fried items were loaded with too much oil. • Although the buffet had many listed items, most of them tasted very similar — it felt repetitive. • The price ($25) is way too high for the quality served. The first taste of Dindigul mutton biryani, combined with a dollop of onion raita and a piece of crisp Bangalore fried chicken in one bite, transported me straight back to South India. If that wasn’t enough (which it honestly should have been), what followed was chili shrimp, fried fish, mutton curry with dosa, and crab masala - each of these dishes were packed with flavor and could have been a meal of its own. To top it all off, their rasam was on point, simple and not pretentious at all . I washed it all down with several cups of cold coffee. The only thing I regret is not trying their dessert — but if I had, my belly would have surely burst. All I can hope now is that they decide to open a branch in NYC! We ordered a masala dosa, chicken curry and a paneer dish. Garlic naan and paratha. Everything was outstanding - flavorful, fresh and delicious! Best dosa I’ve had in Houston - crispy top and edges, delicious filling and 3 very nice chutneys + sambar. Our waiter was really helpful and kind. The restaurant is attractive and has a second floor dining area as well. Can’t wait to go back for the buffet. Our new favorite spot!!
