I would come back and eat here thats how good the food was. Initially I thought the seafood pancake was overpriced however when I saw it the thickness was an inch thick with whole shrimp and a lot of seafood. It was crispy and flavorful a bit oily but worth it. The Jjamppong had a lot of seafood, the spice level wasnt too spicy nor too little it was a great balance. There was a balance for everything. For the Naju Gomtang Guksu the broths taste was very comforting. A little too eggy at first but it is my first time trying it and I enjoyed it. Service was very inviting and I felt welcomed as I entered the establishment.
This restaurant has so much space especially if you want to go there with a big group of people. I went on a Monday at around 4pm so it was pretty empty. The gochujang jajangmyeon was pretty good. The noodles are super chewy and the sauce sticks to them really well. The gochujang adds a really nice kick to it as well. I also got the seafood pancake which was ok. I prefer mine to be really crunchy and loaded with squid, shrimp, and other toppings but this one was kind of bland. At the end, they give yakult along with your check
The beef broth is super comforting, hearty and tasty. The side dishes such as the kimchi and spicy fermented cubed radish pairs nicely with the soup. The servers are very friendly and attentive!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we walked in, everything about Naju Gomtang was exceptional. The gomtang was rich and deeply flavorful, the bibimbap fresh and beautifully balanced, and the seafood pancake crispy and generous. The portions were more than satisfying, and the space was spotless, spacious, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel truly cared for. This is hands down one of the best Korean dining experiences I've had in New York. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic comfort food with top-notch service!
I ordered the beef soup, and it was incredibly clean, rich, and flavorful, didn’t even need to add salt. The portion was generous, with noodles inside and a bowl of rice on the side, making it super filling. I don’t usually eat kimchi but the kimchi here is fermented really well. We also tried the seafood pancake, which was okay, but a bit too flour-heavy for my taste. The staff were all extremely friendly, and the restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming. Great place if you’re looking for a nice comfort hearty meal.
