Nam Dae Mun Food Court

Great place to get legit Korean food that’s affordable. I say legit because most of the folks dining here are Korean grandpas & grandmas.There are some prepped foods that you can just grab and go eat or you can place an order for something more hearty. The naengmyeon (cold noodles) & bulgogi that we got came in good portions, priced good and were very delicious.

Interesting that this small canteen in the back of NDM is called a food court, because it is a one restaurant deli/canteen that is mainly to provide inexpensive Korean meals to employees and shoppers. Typically, a food court is a court containing many different restaurant stalls to choose from. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love this restaurant in the back of NDM for a budget, hearty, warm meal. All made fresh, and even includes a free water to drink and kimchi/banchan. There have been many times that I just didn't have much money to spend on food, but still wanted a hot meal. I hope that you can feel that care and warmth as well when you eat here also. Very pleasantly surprised with this little food court, authentic cuisine at very reasonable prices. We planned to grab a quick bite, but it turned out to be very fine lunch.

Love the K-9 pork cutlet. If you eat there, you'll get soup, too. Meal comes with steamed rice, cabbage salad, and a side of fruit. Food prepared fresh.

They get busy around noon but for the price and no tip, this place is insane value. Food is actually decent as well. This actually qualifies as legit Korean food.
