A comforting, soulful meal every single time. Namaste Tasi Delek Restaurant & Bar has truly become my go to spot for dinner. I come here almost every day, and that alone says everything. The food is consistently excellent, comforting, and made with so much care. I’ve tried quite a few dishes over time, but hands down my favorite now is the thali. It’s the perfect balance of flavors and textures fluffy basmati rice, beautifully spiced lentils and curries, fresh vegetables, pickles, yogurt, and sides that taste like home-cooked food. Every item on the thali feels intentional and satisfying, and it’s a complete, wholesome meal that never disappoints. What really elevates the experience, though, is the service. Vijay and Tenzin are absolutely wonderful, always warm, friendly, and welcoming.

The location is perfect—right at the center of Jackson Heights. No need for any Google Maps headache… just walk around and boom, you’re there. The service is pure Nepali family style. Not the stiff, formal type—this is the “Come, sit, eat properly!” kind of welcome. The staff are warm, smiling, and make you feel comfortable from the very first minute. You don’t feel like a customer, you feel like a guest. I was truly impressed with the Everyday Lunch Buffet 😄 For around $18, you can literally eat like it’s Dashain. This place is my favorite spot because of its food and service. I always had a an excellent fine-dining experience! The restaurant offers a beautiful ambiance, deliciously prepared food, and exceptional staff service. The team was attentive, professional, and made us feel truly welcome.
