Nathan's Famous

Sometimes you just have to have a Nathan’s chili dog. Nice place to take a break from driving, lots of indoor seating, free refills on the drinks!

When my friend suggested that we stop at a travel lodge for lunch since we were in the area I was skeptical. He said they had a Nathan’s and their hot dogs were really good, I reluctantly agreed. The young lady who took our order was friendly and polite, this is where the positive experience ended. THE FOOD WAS NASTY!!!!! The hot dog could have been saved if we didn’t get chilli and cheese on it, the chilli was just a thin sauce with a tiny bit of so called meat. The cheese was some type of processed can or jar slop. The crinkle cut fries, well, I am now questioning whether they were even potatoes, they were bland with no seasonings and mushy, just downright disgusting. We didn’t even finish eating them, that’s how bad they tasted. You don’t expect a travel lodge to have 5 stars restaurant

First time here and the service was quick… but the food showed why.. Looked like my fries were scooped with a spoon before they were even done and the hulk must’ve made my cheese dog. But atleast that was edible. This location outta be renamed infamous and add fryer grease to their list of toppings. 😒😒

Stopped at the Maryland House on our way home for a quick bite and wanted to try something different so we went to Nathan's. The hot dogs were fresh and the fries were hot and crispy. My son enjoyed his chili cheese dog. I liked the breading on the mini corn dogs. Even though the price for one was about the same as a pack, having it hot and fresh was worth it.

This is sad. Have to order through the kiosk. $1.50 for sauerkraut. Hot dogs weren’t that good and fries were cold. Not worth the $16. Take some pride in what you do!!!
