Customer Reviews
This place was a perfect stop after a cold December day in the Smoky Mountains. The beer hit the spot, the giant pretzel was a win with the kids, and both the burger and fish were done really well and came out hot and flavorful! Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, exactly what you want after being out in the cold. Bottom line: an easy recommendation if you’re looking to warm up with a solid meal and a good local beer. Service: Superb
This place was highly recommended to us from a friend. The food did not disappoint. The chicken pot pie was phenomenal and the salmon was excellent. Brussel sprouts were just okay. Our waitress was very good, but another waitress seemed to be a bit snippy. Very good beer choices too. We went outside and listened to some pretty good live music after we ate also.
A very popular place with a usual modern tavern esthetic with plenty of Cherokee decor. The waitress assigned to our table was very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. As for the food, I had gotten the Chef's Steak (with mashed potatoes and broccoli). The steak, though covered in cheese and onions, was quite spicy and cooked to a perfectly juicy medium rare. As for dessert, the hot fudge was thick, warm and so rich with flavored while the ice cream that accompanied it complimented it just right. Meanwhile, the crème brûlée was just right with its sugary, crunchy top layer as the bottom was soft, smooth and sweet.
The food is pretty good. It's worth the price. They also give great portions to make up for the dollar amount. We ordered wings, cheese curds, fried mushrooms, pretzel for apps and all were really good. I personally ordered the meatloaf for my lunch and I found it to be very different but surprisingly great. The whiskey berry glaze was fantastic.
I think this place was great. I didn't know what to expect in this fairly small town. But the beer was good, they have flights, the food was also good, and the place was welcoming and comfortable. They don't have enough staff for all the tables, at least when we went, and the wait time was longer than we were told, and we almost left. But we did get a table and it was worth the wait before a long drive home. I'd gladly to back.
