Nauti Dough Co. - Pizzeria and Bar

Pizza was pretty good, wings were excellent. There were eight of us. One couple got chicken and bacon sandwiches. Two small pieces of chicken and couldn't find the bacon, after they were served the wrong sandwich. They comped the sandwiches which was appreciated. Told we were the only table to complain. We all go out every Thursday to different places. We won't be back.

Atmosphere was friendly and dog friendly. Had the hand tossed brick oven pizza. The ingredients and crust were actually good. The only negative was that that the bottom of the crust was blackened and bitter. After taste stays with you a while. Mentioned it to the bartender waitress and cook, they passed it as normal.

Tried to order online, didn't work. Called the order in and tried to determine the best way to order and I never got a great answer. Ordered hot honey wings...no heat and $16 for 7 wings. Too expensive. Also tried the lobster cannelloni....frozen...very little flavor. And, New York Style Pepperoni...this was the best of the 3. It's close to home so we will probably go in and try something else.

I know they've only been open for about a month at the time of writing this review. I'm hoping they will improve over time. Like another reviewer posted, the topping were minimal. Which was disappointing. Their 'bubbly' crust was literally about 1/4 of the total surface area of the total pie. We got 2 pizzas 1 was 2 toppings 1 was 3 toppings. Total cost was over $35. Sorry, but $15+ for 2 12" pizza is too high in my opinion. The sauce was Very acidy for mine and my daughters taste. I'm giving them 2 stars only because the crust (Neapolitan style) tasted good. Best part of the pizza by far. The bar tender was very friendly and tried to be helpful but, and yes there is a but, They (both the bar tender and pizza maker) Never told us our pizzas were ready so they sat for a while before pick

Try the Neopolitan. My girlfriend loved it and the Italian dressing. Also, if your a single lady, ask to sit in Nick's section. Great atmosphere and live music.
