Everything was amazing! Food, drinks, service, vibes. The crab fried rice is one of the best dishes in Boston. Amazing menu, very well curated. The drinks & sake pair perfectly with the food. The desserts all sounded amazing, so hard to choose. Ended up picking the s’mores cheesecake. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Came here for the first time with a friend who’s been many times. Ambiance is amazing. The bar area is very cool and the bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. Menu options are fantastic, wanted to try everything, and the portions are pretty generous for a higher end restaurant. We shared 4 dishes and it was the perfect amount of food for us (2 veggie and 2 main dishes). We got the green beans, a special foraged mushroom dish not on the menu, dan dan noodles, and the himachi crudo. Everything was great except for the himachi. Honestly it tasted pretty fishy and I expected better from an upscale Seaport restaurant. I get himachi all the time and it’s very mild. This was so fishy we didn’t even finish it. Dessert was the best part though! A choux au craquelin with banana mousse and
Plate sizes are relatively small so definitely get couple per person. We were a party of 3 and ordered at least 7 dishes. Japanese Hamachi Crudo is good. Calamari came with mostly salad, i enjoyed the salad but I wish it had more squids. Overall good.
Just hosted a private dinner here for about 20 people. The space was perfect with private bar and view of the water! Soo many people kept talking about how great the food was. We served everything family style so we got to try a lot of different things..there was really only 1 dish I didn’t love (the sausage wraps) everything else was Ammmmmazinggg!!! A few that we allll loved: the fried chicken, the blue crab fried rice, the duck, the short rib…soo delicious!! Would definitely come back and great space for a group too!
I don’t even live in Boston, but I’ve been to this restaurant three times and I am obsessed with it Even when they changed the menu from the summer to the winter, every new item was still delicious Their crudo is fantastic there is a prawn dish with this amazing coconut sauce that was stunning. I love the service. I typically sit by the bar because I like to yap but it seems like the service at the tables as nice as well I wish I took more pictures of the food, but it was kind of dark in the restaurant (which I love for a date but I was with my mom haha) Anyway. Huge fan!
