Naz's Halal Food - Glen Cove

Food was really tasty. Girlfriend and her mom got gyros. Gyros were definitely way better than the bowl, and had more meat for less $. Probably won't get a bowl again considering I don't want all those carbs 😭, but the gyro 😍😍😍 These wings are torture fyi. They will make your mouth burn for a good 10 minutes and your hands will get stained in chili powder.

As I mentioned earlier this week, I am leery of reviewing chains because each franchise is different. My previous experience with Naz was not a pleasant one due to the gentleman behind the counter, surly and unattentive. However, the young gentleman behind the counter at the Naz of Glen Cove was extremely cordial and welcoming. The food was not extraordinary, but it was bad. It was 4 stars which to me is a B. Not bad. I had a combo over rice which I ate heartily.

The food here was exceptional. Each dish was full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and presented beautifully. The ingredients tasted fresh and authentic, and the portion sizes were very satisfying. The staff was attentive, polite, and quick with service, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality food.

The Naz’s halal out in Deer Park is a much better experience; over there you get lots of meat and you don’t have to pay extra for sauces. The service here was polite and fast, but the combo platter had hardly any meat, and the salad took up half the dish. Rather head out to Deer Park if you really want to experience what Naz’s Halal is all about.

Tried to place an order for delivery. Downloaded the app, couldn’t place an order- there was an error message saying to contact the location. When I did they said there’s nothing they can do, and didn’t seem interested in helping me resolve it. And they couldn’t take an order over the phone… A few weeks later I tried again, and faced an error message again. Bummer. No one seems to care or interested in helping me resolve this.
