Nefer Bookcafe´

Small chill vibes here. It’s refreshing to have this type cafe in my neck of the woods. Pumpkin the owner is really sweet. I love the smoothing jazz, the wall art and different option of books. It’s real cozy in here. Place to come for studying, reading a book, or meeting a friend for some matcha. I’ll be back for sure!

I am not a coffee drinker but I am now. The latte was delish. We met the owner, Pumpkin, it was a pleasure talking with her. I will be supporting this bookcafe from now on. I highly recommend checking them out esp to support a black, woman owned business.

What an amazing place that I never been too. This place has it all. When you step into this bookstore you forget that you are in the bronx, this place brings you to an upscale coffee shop that leaves Starbucks in the dust. The smell brings you in with a welcome that makes you come inside. When you walk in it makes you feel like you live in the upscale side of Snowpiercer(its a train movie in a frozen world). The staff was so good , I called to get a book ,she found it emailed me the exact copy ordered it and called me when it arrived, but wait thats not all. THEY DONT OPEN ON SUNDAY but they said they can open just to give me the book.. THATS WILD. the customer service was amazing AND BEYOND. Very beautiful local cafe, owner is so kind and always excited to share her creations. She’s very patient with explaining certain things. Besides that, the drinks are genuinely creative and tasty. Bakery items are also locally sourced. 100% recommend!!

An oasis in the Bronx. Incredible drinks and vibe. Pumpkin is the owner of Nefer Bookcafe and super kind. I got the coquito latte today and it was delicious. Coconut and coffee blend together beautifully.
