Nelly Latin Restaurant. Dominican 🇩🇴

recently had the pleasure of dining at Nelly Latin Restaurant, and it was very good. The beef stew was incredibly tender, served with perfectly seasoned rice and fresh vegetables. Beyond the food, the service was just as impressive. The staff made me feel right at home. Even the customers were genuinely nice people that engaged in conversation while I dined alone. Nelly Latin Restaurant is a gem that delivers incredible food, warm hospitality, and an authentic taste of Latin cuisine. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Highly recommend!

This place is fantastic all across the board. I'm a huge fan of Latin cuisine, no matter the country, they all cook dishes that are unparalleled. This place epitomizes the distinct aromas, flavors, and quality of ethnic delicacies while offering an atmosphere and menu reminiscent of home and Mama's cooking(which is crazy considering I'm Ukrainian, not even remotely Latino😝). The staff is professional, courteous, and very friendly. Ask for Alby, she'll tend to you with her partner in crime, Gray. Both are absolutely intoxicating ladies who will make you want to stay just because of their entertaining and endearing personalities, which will likely make you want more food and drinks(brilliant marketing at it's finest😜). The flavors were delicious but I was disappointed that when I got a lunch dish they filled the whole container with rice and gave me literally 2 small pieces of pollo guisado that were mainly bone. She asked if it was "okay" and I asked at least for some more sauce. The girl who ordered after me got way more chicken on top of her dish with no question or prompting and I was really surprised. Didn't make me feel valued as a customer paying $13 for a container of mainly white rice.

The food here is very good. The staff is always gracious, smiles with excellent service. The atmosphere here is warm, & welcoming. It's a vibe thing, if you know, you know😉. I eat take-out, due to my job. Love the fish, chicken, black beans, sometimes the stew beef.. Hey stop in & see for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

The food is good here especially for a place upstate where you can’t get good Dominican food this place is your greatest bet. Trust when I tell you it’s good but you have to go early enough to get fresh food. I can’t eat food that has been out in buffet setting for too long but when the food is out fresh from early you won’t be disappointed! I have had the chicharron de pollo sin hueso made to order and it was good with white rice and black beans. I’ve also had the pernil with white rice and salad and fried plantains and that was good again early enough where it’s fresh ! The pastelitos are not good I did not enjoy them at all! Dry, not that much flavor to them and the masa or dough to make them tasted bad so not my pick there. Those are my recommendations.
