Neri's on the Square

Xander is great . Food was delicious. So many great options. We’re here for a few days and will be going back to try all the options. Had Pork Belly, Mahi mahi, chicharrones and pumpkin delight. Nothing disappointed. Love the historical building it is in and we were lucky enough to be there on a night that Brad Good was singing. Didn’t get pictures of the mahi mahi plate, but it was delicious

The food was great. We had the full order of brisket nachos and it would have been a meal for 4. The Mac and cheese had noodles cooked to perfection. The breading on the fish was thick like a corn dog almost. Wasn't bad, but it was the crispy fish and chips I expected. Over all great experience.

Service was terrible. Ordered drinks and repeatedly had to remind wait staff. Appetizers were cold by the time they brought the dipping sauce that was supposed to come with it. Half of our dinner was was also cold when came to the table but the food was good. Toilet in the women’s bathroom did not flush and out of paper products. Told someone but nothing was done.

Gave Neris another shot and let me tell you like I said before the food is either amazing or not and today it was AMAZING! The service was good too. The fish sandwich was one of my favorite bites. The Santa fe soup was great too! Neris food is either out of this world or blah. The service is usually a struggle and the atmosphere is fine. The prices have gotten soooo expensive. It’s crazy how much they have gone up and portions and quality down. I was less than impressed with the $17 chicken salad today, it used to be to be my favorite.

Ate lunch here on a weekend. We had a large party of 10 people. Service was very friendly. Would not recommend the chicken salad sandwich as it was just meh. Other items were great service was just a little spotty, but in all fairness, we arrived just as they opened and they were still getting up to speed for the day. Definitely would visit again great atmosphere.
