NEVS Barbecue

This was a surprise experience for me. I was reviewing a bar & grill in the same strip mall. NEVS has outdoor seating. I asked some of the patrons how the food was. They all answered with an enthusiastic approval! I had the BBQ brisket with collard greens, coleslaw, a cornbread muffin and an order of fries. Everything was fantastic. The brisket was made to perfection. Juicy and very tender. The fries were a standout hit. They are proudly fried in beef tallow and seasoned with brisket seasoning (salt, pepper and other spices). Free refills on fountain drinks. I highly recommend this place for takeout or dining in. The staff and management were ultra polite and helpful with recommendations.

Tried their brisket and cornbread for the first time today after reading the reviews and it absolutely did not disappoint! The brisket was amazing so flavorful, tender, and cooked perfectly. Their homemade sauces were really good as well. I especially loved the sweet cornbread bc it’s just the way I like it. Definitely coming back!

Nev’s was outstanding. I was a first time visitor, and was surprisingly greeted by the kindest manager who took the time to explain their restaurant, each menu item, go over the process of ordering, and he told me where I could find napkins, to-go containers and the like. He even carried my drink to my table when I was out of room on my tray. The food was flavorful, generous portions, and the staff was very knowledgeable about their food and ingredients, saving me from a possible gluten contamination. My only regret is not getting the managers name. I will remember this meal!

I originally went there with my wife and the brisket was amazing! The best we ever had hands down! Since then I’ve been spreading word!I initially visited this establishment with my wife, and the brisket was simply incredible! It was, without a doubt, the best brisket we’ve ever had. Since then, I’ve been enthusiastically recommending it to others.

Might as well have served beef jerky. Not tender at all. Gave my jaw a workout. $18 for some dry beef with no crust or flavor. Very different from when I went a few years ago. Won’t be returning
