New Bawarchi Indian Cuisine - Kansas City

BAWARCHI BIRIYANIS....DO NOT RISK ORDERING ANY CATERING FROM HERE. We had a horrible experience with a catering order from this place that almost ruined our party. Very disappointing experience. Would have rated ZERO but 1 is the lowest. Note that this is a late post because we have been too busy with the Indian festive season until this time. But we want to make sure they don't ruin other people's parties like they did with ours. We had ordered one large FULL TRAY of boneless chicken biriyani and a small order of butter chicken for a Labor Day weekend party. While the butter chicken was fine (as it should be), the entire large full tray of biriyani was an absolute disaster. There was no look or the aroma of a typical biriyani. I had a really disappointing experience here. The food was stale, and I'd recommend avoiding this place. The chicken wings were not cooked through and were raw inside. Additionally, the chicken in the biryani smelled bad, which was very off-putting.

Visited Bawarchi on a weekday evening and had a wonderful experience. All the food was very fresh and absolutely delicious. The mutton biryani and chicken dum biryani were perfectly cooked with rich flavors, the chicken 65 was crispy and tasty, and the garlic naan was soft and flavorful. We ended with rasmalai, which was fresh and delightful. Highly recommend this place for authentic and satisfying food. Will definitely visit again! 🍽️✨

We recently dined at Bawarchi Kansas City, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. We began with the Guntur Chicken, which delivered a bold, fiery kick and was bursting with flavor — perfect for spice lovers. For the main course, I ordered the Hyderabadi Goat Dum Biryani, and it did not disappoint. The goat was tender, the rice perfectly cooked, and the dish was rich with beautifully balanced, aromatic spices. The Mango Lassi was incredibly refreshing and paired wonderfully with the meal.!!!!! On another visit, I tried the Goat Mandi Biryani, and it was equally impressive. The meat was juicy and cooked to perfection, while the rice carried a delicious smoky aroma with just the right level of seasoning. The portion size was generous, and the presentation was excellent. Me and my friend when to the restaurant at around 9 pm. They are out of Biryanis and preparing it “freshly”. After we almost finished eating, we found a “FLY” in it. We rushed to the restroom immediately. Staff mentioned that they send the pictures to the owner. We felt nauseous and rushed to home immediately. This is the service we are receiving from this restaurant. Please take care of the services you provide. This is not at all acceptable as it very dangerous to consume this kind of food. Never going to this restaurant again.
