As a domestic violence survivor, I am deeply disappointed by how my case was handled today by New Castle County Police. I made it clear from the very beginning that I did not consent for my daughter to live with strangers. Instead of ensuring her safety by bringing her home, the officers left her in the care of people outside of my family — directly against my wishes as her mother. Officer Irvin was respectful and professional, and I appreciate his approach. However, his partner was dismissive and rude. Sadly, this is not a new experience for me. What a joke. They do nothing. Cars zooming up and down 896 at all hours. Even Newark Police said "good luck" on getting any response from state troopers...apparently I need to give them 1 star to post.this...UNBELIEVABLE.

Never in my life seen a bigger bunch of smug sarcastic officers in my life. They treat the press like absolute garbage. Way to violate people’s 1st amendment rights. Super unprofessional bullies

On 18th October morning hours between 8:00am - 8:45 I was here to report possible stolen car but it turned out it wasn’t. Upon arriving at the police department the door was locked but there was instructions on the side of the door. I pressed the button and the officer who answered was very rude, unprofessional and arrogant. Officer: How can I help you? Me: Good morning sir, my vehicle is missing from my house I am wondering if any towing company might have taken the vehicle and reported it. Officer: what?…. Ugh OPEN the door Me: say that again please! Officer: OPEN THE DOOR AND COME IN HERE! ME: saying to myself why is he so rude??? And yelling at me??? I entered the building and found two officers without uniforms behind the desk. I was there standing for 2 good minutes and the o
