New China Carryout

I wish I could give zero stars. We ordered takeout from New China in Annandale and, after we had already placed the order, we looked up the reviews and saw all the complaints about cleanliness (bugs/hair, etc.). Even then, we still decided to pay and pick up the food out of curiosity and so it wouldn’t go to waste. We picked up around 3 PM. My boyfriend went inside, gave my name exactly as it appears on the receipt, and confirmed the order. The woman told him “they’re still making it,” then had him pay at the counter. He remembers seeing a total around $30, and my receipt (with tip) also shows about $30. Later that evening around 6–7 PM, I got an angry phone call from a woman at the restaurant insisting I “never picked up” my order. I calmly explained that my boyfriend picked it up hours

1. Small classic carry out place. 2. The staff was a very nice lady, courteous and friendly. 3. The food. I just ordered the combination fried rice (spice levels included). 4. Taste, it was very good. I will go again!!

I am in the habit of reviewing everything, and as a reviewer, I make it a point to read reviews for restaurants before I order anything. The reviews I saw were pretty good, with the exception of two. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and the fried wings with fried rice and sweet and sour soup. The food was well seasoned, hot, and better than I expected. However, the fried wings were not what I'm used to...they could learn something from the carryout restaurants in Washington DC where the wings are fried well and are absolutely delicious. The spring roll was one of the best I've had in a while. I will definitely patronize this place in the near future. Just work on those wings...go to DC as a secret shopper and try the wings at virtually every carryout to get an idea of how it's

I ordered from this restaurant from DoorDash. I ordered 2 entrees and a side if rice and Asian donuts. The food was good until we got to the donuts. We ate about 8 of the 10 and as I picked up the second to last one there was a big. This is revolting and disgusting! My girlfriend immediately spit hers out and went to hurl.

This is the 90s era chinese takeout and pricing you all have been waiting for. Is the food a little suspect? Maybe... Does it taste good and is it cost efficient? Yes! It arrives 20 mins after ordering. Is that fast and weird? A little - but after 4 beers it doesn't matter. This is 90s Chinese takeout and we're here for it. Delicious, kinda suspicious, ultra fast chinese delivery when you've had 6 miller lights on a Friday night.
