My god I had NO IDEA vegan breakfast sandwiches could taste so good. I left this place feeling culinarily inspired and honestly as someone who has lived in and near NYC most of my life, famous for it's breakfast sandwiches, these were the best I have ever tasted. Does this place have a Michelin star?? I feel like it might!

Port Angeles'go to healthy coffee and breakfast/lunch downtown. Charismatic setting with enjoyable staff. Lovely presentations of everything I have tried. Vegan options not available elsewhere.

Omg omg omg!! Guys if you are a vegan or vegetarian or one that enjoys good food… this place is the BEST! From the time we got seated to ordering and having our breakfast brought over by the Chef Hammond snd Team… We were super excited and all of our family loved all their meals. My fav was the vegan breakfast sandwich, but everyone’s meals were equally delicious and soo flavorful. After the meal I asked to speak to chef Hammond, and learnt, that they cook everything fresh inhouse! Hope this place would open in my town Orlando 🙌😍

No review I've ever given before ever deserved 3 stars across the board more. I WANT to like New Day. I knew the old owners, I knew a lot of the staff, I like their cakes. But the dining experience isn't great—as a single person or a group. I have my best experiences here ordering things to-go. Like a coffee in the morning or the avacado toast. (Although they have messed those up on more than one occassion.) I'm always willing to go back; there's not much in the ways of gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan options in this town. But the service is variable at best. I imagine they could eliminate a lot of their wait staff and make things self-serve.
