New Hope Star Diner

This tidy little diner is favored by locals in New Hope, Pennsylvania. They had a small but adequate salad bar with 4 homemade soups, and a varied menu of American fare. I ordered the open faced roast beef sandwich special, which was a generous portion even if the gravy was pedestrian and slightly bland. 🤔 My companion ordered the 3 cheese lasagna, which he liked except for a salty aftertaste. We both agreed that the seafood bisque tasted of flour, so not top marks on the food. It was a cheerful, clean place, though, with an attentive staff. I dislike televisions in dining establishments, so it loses a few points there as well. All in all, a solid little spot to grab a bite to eat, even if I found their prices a little steep.

Solid diner - wonderful staff - good food.... Our waitress was wonderful. Professional and friendly. In addition; she was very talented! All of her beautiful and interesting artwork was on full display. Really cool stuff!

There’s been some nice renovations since my last visit. I just ordered the salad bar, which was very generic. The sweet cream bread was outstanding. Our server Hemmit was very nice, and attentive. The chocolate desserts were very tempting. The restaurant, and bathrooms were very clean

Old time classic diner. Booth, table and counter seating available in 4 different rooms. We came for breakfast and sat in a Very comfortable booth. Our server, Onur, was very friendly, helpful and quick. We both ordered the #2 special - Pork Roll grilled cheese with breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were delicious, well prepared, good crust and not greasy. As with most local places in New Hope there is an up charge for using a credit card. Definitely worth a try for breakfast, Lunch or dinner

It was nice experience with these dinner. It's not the first time we come here to dine in. We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary. And it was nice and quiet inside even though there was about 20 people. Great experience and good was so delicious. My husband and I were happy to be here again.
