New Japan Express

Came here because I’ve had good experiences in the past. However, I ordered the steak and chicken, which was $16 with no drink. This was all of the meat that was included. The rest was all veggies and rice. When I asked about it, they said “yeah sorry that’s how it always is. 3oz of chicken and 3oz of steak.” Either way, it wasn’t 3oz of either. They didn’t offer any other alternatives. Will not be back.

Well we the GF and I tried this place for the first time. The area is clean and relaxed, plexiglass glass in front of the register, to be expected. Food took about 10 mins to make, order 1 chicken hibachi and 1 Steak and Chicken hibachi with 2 drinks, price 33$. The rice was bland no flavor chicken for the chicken hibachi seemed tasty a d plentiful. Steak and chicken a different story on portion size, tiny pieces cut up maybe a few bite size pieces of steak, the rest seemed cut up from the bite size pieces. Ill post photos of the food before it was touched. I do belive they can do better on the portion sizes of the meat..they try to overwhelm you with the veggies and rice.

Ordered take out from this place. Wife ordered 3 steak and shrimp and one chicken and shrimp. Food was extremely small portions... I counted 4 pieces of steak and 4 shrimps on my plate. Food didn't even taste like hibachi. Food was so bad that we took the food back to the store, to have the order remade. They refused to remake the order or give money back BUT they were willing to take our food and throw it back on the grill and add soy sauce..... Now, I'm not a food inspector, but I feel like that's a huge food safety violation. No worries. We refused to let them doctor the food. We just took the terrible food threw it away and went and got Chicfila. You guys can continue eating here but their blatant disregard for food safety, terrible portion sizes and unwillingness to remedy the issue

I ordered take out from here and was so disappointed and the food was not good! We ordered chicken and steak hibachi and one chicken hibachi. There was like 6 pieces of steak and 10 pieces of chicken. The rice was plain white and over done. The white sauce was literally mayo and milk. It was so a 0/10. Don’t spend your money! It was extremely overpriced!

This is a Japanese takeout. Read that again. It isn’t a cook in front of your plate place. The food is exactly what I was expecting. It is good. Better than what I originally planned on eating. Probably healthier if I was to compare. I’m not a big fan of cooked carrots. These were not raw as someone else complained of. The rice was plain white rice. It was missing some of that hibachi flavor. But I still liked it. The portion size was good for a lunch.
