New Moon Chinese Restaurant

1/11/2025 Hello, it’s the picky eater again, I just wanted to share a few things in reference to one of my favorite takeout places in Connecticut. I treat myself to wonton soup with five extra wontons and a small house fried rice about once a week. So, after traveling, shopping and visiting family on Sunday, my husband and I decided we didn’t have the energy to cook dinner. Our first choice was Mona Lisa, in Waterbury( we are going to try the Family takeout menu for the first time ) but they were closed for vacation. So we opted to go to New Moon Chinese Resturant . Worker tried to tell me chow mein does not have noodles. I ordered shrimp chow mein and they gave me just veggies absolutely disgusting. Worker got aggressive with me over the phone. Very rude! Pictures showed what I received

Rib meat was hard and dry. Shrimp toast totally burnt, and woman on the counter screaming at staff with several customers in the store. The low main was good at least

Ordered a half fried chicken and its had no meat and quite honestly it looked disgusting. Very disappointed with what they served me, the picture does not do it justice because it was way worse.

Good location, easy access, and it has all the traditional Chinese food.
