New Penny Cafe

Okay this spot was such a vibe — part café, part boutique market energy, and honestly just one of those places you can hang for a while. Bright open space, cute local goods everywhere, and the funniest little gift section that had us literally rolling. It feels casual but still thoughtfully curated, which I loved. Food hit too — my absolute favorite was the coconut (açaí-inspired) bowl. The texture was divine — creamy, refreshing, and super satisfying. My friend had the elote avo toast and it looked just as good as my friend said it tasted — stacked, flavorful, and definitely a standout. Great brunch spot, fun browsing, chill energy — I’d absolutely swing back when I’m in the area.

I meant to review this wonderful place just over a year ago ( it was a crazy year so I had forgot for a while). I really cannot recommend a place more than this place. Not only was the food ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and reasonably priced but the service was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I had called about hosting a small bridal shower there for a friend. They were quick to say yes and worked with us to figure out what kind of menu or order type we wanted. And they surprised us with some complimentary treats and drinks! They allowed bring our own decorations and helped with everything we needed! If you are even thinking about coming here or using them, just do it! You will not be disappointed!

I’ve been a long time customer at New Penny for the last several years. It’s often my go to spot in my local area for several reasons: amazing/unique food, enjoyable comfort drinks alongside refreshing new seasonals, and lots of comfortable seating. Sadly that’s changed over the past few times I’ve been there. Today, I came in, looking forward to sitting in one of their 4 window-side overstuffed swivel chairs only to discover they’d mostly been replaced with tables and stools. This is the 3rd furniture rearrange in the last year and by far the worst because the comfortable seating has largely been replaced with straight back chairs and stools. It immediately felt like New Penny didn’t want me to stay a while, but rather I should order my drink and food, eat, then leave right after rather

Amazing food! We love the acai bowls. Yum. We now have breakfast here at least once every time we visit family in the area.

Great restaurant. The early mornings and Sundays are my favorite to wind down, pleasant atmosphere and excellent food worth every penny. The Big Boy Bagel is in the name and quite filling. As an AZ native I recommend it highly.
