From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was struck by an atmosphere that managed to feel both professionally polished and deeply personal a rare "home away from home" quality that many establishments strive for but few achieve. ​The Service: Beyond the Plate ​The service here isn't just efficient; it’s educational. The staff demonstrated an impressive depth of knowledge, navigating my inquiries about spice profiles and regional origins with genuine enthusiasm. It is clear that the team takes pride in their heritage. This spirit of hospitality was anchored by the owner, whose proactive and friendly presence ensured that every guest felt like a VIP. ​

Four of us went to Al Aqsa from State College to do some pre-Ramadan shopping. It took us about 4 hours to drive there, and then we spent another 4 hours in the market. We were super hungry and were looking for South Asian food. We were warmly welcomed by the owner/manager. We ordered Chicken Biryani (I don’t remember the exact name from the menu, but it was the one the owner suggested), Haleem, Chicken Karahi, garlic naan, Aloo Paratha, Lassi, Mango Lassi, and Gajar Halwa. And chai! The food was delicious. The owner/manager made us feel at home. He also shared his future plans for students, including upcoming buffet plans, and invited us to visit again in the coming weeks. We will definitely visit again.

The best customer service I have ever received. Came in looking for a a restroom for my son and left with the most enjoyable food ever. After being refused by several stores that I could not use their restroom. The customer service was outstanding the beautiful lady in the front let me into one of the cleanest bathroom that I have ever been in. It smells good very clean and then after I said thank you she smiled and said no problem at allso I decided to order some food to have dinner with my children and all around amazing the food is so delicious and the service it’s outstanding will be back. Definitely my new favorite spot.

I am very disappointed with the samosa I got. It was clearly stale and not fresh at all. The outer layer was soft and soggy instead of crispy, and the filling had a bad taste and smell. It was black from inside. It felt like it was made many hours or even days before and just reheated. I expected fresh and tasty food but this was a waste of money. I hope they improve their quality and serve fresh samosas in the future.
