good little place and have good Ramen. overall a good spot for asian food and sushi.

I stayed in the Hilton next to the restaurant. Decided to choose for the ease of walking. Ordered a Wonton soup, liked it, got a good kick. Quality mushrooms. Went for the Shrimp Tempura, was good as well. Asked for Sake advice, the recommended a sake that was really smooth and dry, exactly how I wanted it. Ordered a sushi and sashimi combi platter, quality was amazing. The Reds-Yankees game was on, atmosphere was good. Ordered another bottle of Sake. What I liked, the waiter explicitly asked if I really wanted it because it was not wise to drive, I was having a 30 seconds walk to the hotel, all good. I liked he asked and being responsible. I will come back to this restaurant, I liked the quality, the product and the level of the service.

Sweet & Sour chicken was sliced thin chicken chips of some sort. The taste was mostly bread crumb with leather like chicken chews inside. I threw it out after 3 bites.

We came here for a birthday dinner. This is the birthday boys favorite hibachi place and also my first experience going to any hibachi restaurant. It was amazing. The waitress was awesome and the chef was amazing to watch. I was very pleased that they were able to accommodate the cooking of certain food for people with seafood allergies. Theirs were cooked in the back kitchen. The food was great, they had a good selection of drinks and the menu was quite large. Not to mention I had my first sake sky from the chef. They were also able to accommodate our large group of 15. The food is on the expensive side, but it's worth it. I did see many children, so it is a kid friendly place. Great place to eat and will come again.

New Tokyo provides an enjoyable hibachi dining experience with interactive chefs. The Wok&Grill menu leans towards sweeter flavors, which might not appeal to everyone. The hibachi dishes, while consistently cooked, could be elevated with more complex flavor combinations. A wider range of sauces or seasonings could enhance the overall taste experience.
